Flora and fauna explores the ties one experiences with a foreign land they call home. Model and collaborator, Esther Mauga, is of Kiwi and Samoan descent however, has lived in Australia from a young age. Now studying film in Auckland, whenever Esther visits her family back in Brisbane she is drawn to these familiar yet foreign urban and natural landscapes she once called home.
